1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of goods from Carvèll on the Square (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. Products
We offer three categories of products:
Fashion (contemporary, new items)
Déjà Vu (one-of-a-kind, vintage or pre-owned pieces)
Mystique (lingerie and intimate garments)
All products are subject to availability. We take care to ensure that descriptions, images and measurements are accurate. However, colours and textures may vary slightly due to screen settings and the nature of materials.
Déjà Vu items may show signs of wear consistent with their history. These characteristics form part of their nature and are disclosed where relevant.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the methods provided at checkout.
We reserve the right to amend pricing at any time.
5. Orders
Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. This does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for reasons including:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing errors
- Suspected fraud
If your order is cancelled, you will be refunded in full.
6. Delivery
All orders are dispatched from the UK using tracked services via Royal Mail. Orders placed before [3 pm] are typically dispatched the same working day.
Estimated delivery times and shipping costs are provided at checkout and are indicative only.
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control.
7. Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. You must notify us of your decision to cancel by contacting info@carvellonthesquare.co.uk You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
8. Returns & Conditions
Returned items must be:
- Unworn and Unused
- In original condition
- With all tags attached (where applicable)
We reserve the right to make deductions or refuse returns where items show signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
We may request supporting information, including photographs, where reasonably required to assess a return.
9. Product-Specific Returns
Fashion
Eligible for a full refund to the original payment method.
Déjà Vu
Returns are accepted for store credit only, reflecting the one-of-a-kind nature of these items.
This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Mystique (Lingerie)
Due to hygiene considerations, returns are accepted only where:
- Items are unworn and unwashed
- Tried on over underwear
- All tags and hygiene seals remain intact
We reserve the right to refuse returns where hygiene seals have been removed or where items show signs of wear.
10. Return Shipping
Unless an item is faulty or incorrect:
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer
- Items remain your responsibility until received by us
We recommend using a tracked service.
11. Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving returned goods.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Original delivery charges are refunded only where required by law
- Store credit (for Déjà Vu items) will be issued electronically.
12. Faulty or Misdescribed Items
If your item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at info@carvellonthesquare.co.uk
To help us assess and resolve your claim promptly, we may request clear photographic evidence of the issue, including images of the item and any relevant packaging.
We reserve the right to request such information before authorising a return or issuing a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
In such cases, we will:
- Provide a full refund
- Cover return shipping costs
This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
13. Exchanges
Due to the limited nature of many items, we do not offer direct exchanges. Customers may return items (where eligible) and place a new order.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, and branding, is the property of Carvèll on the Square Ltd and may not be used without permission.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Delays outside our control
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.
